AWC is designed to be a one stop shop for displaying images on your desktop wallpaper.You can simply display you photos on your Desktop or create spectacular wallpapers by merging your images with the background of your choice using powerful alpha-blended fades.
A configurable timer automatically changes the desktop to display your pictures in the way that you want to see them. Just select one or more directories containing picture files and AWC will create a list of all the images contained in them, randomly select one and format it using a combination of the many available options.
The displayed image can be resized for the best fit to the screen, optionally maintaining its aspect ratio, or displayed at its actual size.
You are not limited to the centre of the screen when displaying a picture, as is usually the case in windows, but can display the picture in any of the four corners of the screen or centred on one of the edges. Additionally you can specify that images should always be tiled: again you can specify how the tiles are laid out on the screen rather than simply going from the top left.
The real power of AWC lies in the fact that here are lots of options for tweaking the picture to ensure that you get the best possible result on your system. Just open the Preferences screen from the File menu and you can set exactly how you want your wallpaper to appear.

This ASP component resizes, edits and joins images. It supports JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG, PCX, PSD, TIF and WBMP files and can convert between them. Images can be exported to PDF. Create thumbnails and change JPG compression quality to reduce file size. Add text labels, draw lines and shapes with optional colour fills or antialiasing. Crop, Rotate, Flip and FloodFill commands available. Images can be joined by pasting one on top of another with optional full or partial transparency of the foreground image, including PNG alpha channels. Adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, hue, saturation and lightness. Import and export data from file, as a binary stream from a database or from a remote server. Read, write and edit IPTC text from JPG and TIF files. Extract and edit EXIF attributes from JPEG and TIFF files. Support for multi page TIFs. ICC colour profiles can be preserved. Usability and functionality were our Polestar, while we were developing the new version of IconUtils. IconUtils is a complete workshop for icon crafting. The suite consists of several programs; each was designed to process icons in its special way: IconLover is an icon, cursor, image editor and manager; Any to Icon is a converter for converting graphic format files to icons; Icon to Any is a converter for converting icons to various formats of graphic files; AhaView is a handy picture viewer and converter. Downloading huge collections of icons from the Internet and creating icons, cursors, gif-buttons and toolbars will be a piece of cake.
IconLover has a good hand at finding, extracting icons and cursors, creating and editing icons and cursors, importing and exporting icons and cursors and managing icon and cursor libraries.
