Robo-FTP is a secure, script-driven Windows FTP and HTTP client designed to conduct unattended file transfers with normal FTP and 128-bit SSH and SSL secure servers. New features include an integrated script editor and scheduling utility. Robo-FTP also features integrated PGP encryption/decryption to maintain the highest level of data security. It also supports integrated zip archive management, sending and receiving e-mail messages (no separate e-mail client required), single command local-server synchronization, capability to compare local and server files by date, time, and size, and to write messages to the event log, ODBC support for database access and a COM/OLE interface. A utility is provided to install Robo-FTP as a service; a script file wizard is provided to build basic scripts by following simple “fill in the blank” style prompting. Robo-FTP is designed around a script language consisting of 100+ commands designed to automate virtually any FTP file transfers. While Robo-FTPâ??s design is centered around the execution of script files, the product also includes a simple but capable FTP client applet for general use and for use while testing scripts. Under the control of its script language, Robo-FTP can be directed to connect with one or more FTP servers, send and receive text and binary files, and detect and recover from errors at any time of the day or night. Robo-FTP maintains a detailed log file to record the events of a file transfer session. Each log file entry is stamped with the system date and time and records the step-by-step activity of a session for later review. Each log entry is immediately written to the log file so it is always up to date. Robo-FTP has been designed from the ground up as an unattended, secure file transfer package. Many other popular FTP packages designed for attended operation are excellent if you are there to drive, but often come up short if your needs call for unattended operation. For those times, there is Robo-FTP.

Useful if you need to rename a large number of files in a directory accordingly to their ID3 description and a given “formula” (e.g. (%Track) %Artist – %Title). Such a function is pretty “smart”, as it lets you assembly the filename as you wish and use the variables from the ID3 tag in the filename. It is required you mark them with a “%” at the beginning, followed by an ID3 section label (literally – i.e. the first letter is capital, exactly as it is referred to in the roll-down menu). Do you have loads of MP3 files in a directory and need to write a single common piece of information into them (e.g. the interpret or the album name)? You can type it in there manually, but this won`t make you very cheerful if the amount of files is large. Using ID3 renamer, everything is a matter of a few mouse clicks. Do you need to clean some portion of the ID3 tag? Use ID3 renamer and don`t erase like every single line. Do you need to remove the diacritics? Choose the advanced options and it`s already done. ID3 renamer can also create a new tag if there is none in the file yet; it lets you easily write into new files too. You can also fill the tag with information from the filename (alike the renaming process). Just type in the pattern, definition of information layout in the filename and ID3 tag version – and ID3 renamer will store everything. The pattern is given in the form of a regular expression. ID3 renamer fully supports ID3v1, ID3v1.1, ID3v1.1+Winamp extension and ID3v2.x.

JPEG Imager is an interactive image compressor. It provides a real-time preview of a compressed image and handy means to compare it with original one. You can fiddle with various compression parameters and observe the effect of changes almost instantly. You can also specify a desired file size and let the program select the proper value of the quality parameter automatically. In short, JPEG Imager is perfect for Quality vs. File Size optimization. It may prove to be very useful if you need to optimize your images for publishing in the Web. Speaking about other features, JPEG Imager includes a set of basic image manipulation and enhancing operations such as Resample (resize), Crop, Rotation, Gamma correction, Levels adjustment and so on. There is also a cleaning tool for noise removing and, of course, the TWAIN support for image acquisition from scanners and digital cams. Working with JPEG Imager you can acquire, enhance and optimize your images not having to use any other programs. Besides, JPEG Imager has a simple built-in batch processor and thumbnail generator.
